Disclaimer Statement:
The Alaska Unified Certification Program (AUCP) does not, as a result of this listing, make any representation concerning the ability of any listed firm to perform work in the NAICS /Work Category listed. This Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE/ACDBE) Directory is intended to be used as an “informational source only”. This Directory lists the most current AUCP DBE/ACDBE firms certified in accordance with 49 CFR 26 and 49 CFR 23.

Certification does not mean that a firm is in any way prequalified. Before awarding a contract, the AUCP strongly recommends that the contractors to consider the following:

  1. Conduct their own investigation to determine the capability and capacity of the DBE/ACDBE firm(s) to satisfactorily perform the proposed work;
  2. Ensure the DBE/ACDBE firm(s) has a current DBE/ACDBE certification. This Directory lists the most current AUCP DBE/ACDBE certified firms; and
  3. Ensure the DBE/ACDBE firm(s) is registered in Alaska and has a current Alaska Business License.

Important note regarding Commercially Useful Function (CUF): Per DBE regulation 49 CFR 26.73 (a)(1), consideration of whether a firm performs CUF is NOT reviewed when making decision to certify firms as DBEs. Certification is based primarily on the disadvantaged owner proving that he/she can own and control a firm engaged in the primary activity it is being certified for.

For additional information, review the Certification Regulations.
