Lake Hood Update
- Notice of Public Meeting: Lake Hood User Group Fall Meeting -- the Lake Hood User Group Fall Meeting was held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Alaska Aviation Museum, located at 4721 Aircraft Drive, Anchorage, AK 99502. Minutes and slides are attached or available from the Lake Hood Office.
- Effective October 17, 2013, there will be a single Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airport identifier for all of Lake Hood: LHD. LHD will encompass both the lake and the gravel strip. Previously, the gravel strip has been identified as a separate airport, Z41. Beginning October 17, 2013 the Z41 identifier will no longer be used and the gravel strip will be identified as RWY 14/32 at LHD. - Construction is now completed in Alpha Parking and is on-going in Bravo and Charlie Parking, expected to be completed by mid-October. Updates will be provided as available. Question may be directed to LHD at 266-2741
- Lake Hood is now open for winter operations
