Available routes to and from Unalaska, Alaska

Service Area

Ferry service to Dutch Harbor/Unalaska is provided every other week from May through September. The route takes three to three-and-a-half days from Homer, depending on the direction you travel, and is a wonderful way to see the Aleutian Islands. A popular option for visitors is to take the ferry to/from Homer one direction and fly to/from Anchorage the other direction. This allows you to spend a couple of days in Unalaska and really experience the culture, enjoy outdoor activities, and explore the community in depth.
