Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) - Central Region

The Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) is dedicated to reducing the number and severity of collisions on Alaska 's roads by making spot improvements to locations that have a history of an above average rate of crashes. A change in road signage, intersection layout, signals or sidewalks can mean fewer injuries and can even save lives.
