Chief Jesse Davis
In November 2011, the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport named Jesse Davis to the position of Chief of the Police and Fire Department. Jesse has over 15 years experience with the department and actively served as an instructor in all three of the police, fire, and medical disciplines. He also served as the Department Training Sergeant maintaining accountability for local, state, and federal records and requirements for all 70 members of the department. Jesse was a project manager for the airport's triennial disaster exercise, and maintains numerous additional duties within the department. Prior to joining the airport team, Chief Davis served in the US Air Force as a B-52 Navigator and Bombardier during the Gulf War, and was the Executive Officer and Assistant Professor for the ROTC program at Washington State University and the University of Idaho. Chief Davis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Physics from Oregon State University, and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
