Some Terminals are within a few blocks of the downtown area, while others are served by private transportation companies. Airport transportation services are available from our Bellingham terminal to the Seattle Airport, (SEATAC). Bus services are also available from Whittier and the Kenai areas to the Anchorage International Airport. Most terminals are serviced by local taxi service. Connecting from Seattle (SEA-TAC)
The Bellingham Cruise Terminal, a multimodal transportation center at 401 Harris Avenue in Fairhaven serves as the southern starting point for the Alaska Marine Highway System.
Bellingham is located just 90 miles north of Seattle’s SEA-TAC airport. The Cruise Terminal offers convenient access to taxis, Amtrak and Greyhound, local bus service and connections to Victoria and San Juan Island ferry services, all in one location. The ferry terminal and visitor information center are adjacent to the historic Fairhaven district.
Passengers who may be flying in or out of Seattle’s SEA-TAC airport may make quick connections via Amtrak or the Airporter Shuttle. Convenient short and long-term parking is also available for Fairhaven Station. All parking areas are clearly marked to show whether they are for short or long-term parking. For more information on parking fees and shuttle services visit the Port of Bellingham website.
BC Ferries uses facilities at Prince Rupert adjacent to AMHS, and it is sometimes possible to make connections between BC Ferries and AMHS vessels. When scheduling a connection, please make an allowance for possible delays.
BC Ferries will not delay departures to wait for passengers making connections.
